Originally named “Halls Bridge,” Buckhorn was renamed for the deer antlers that founder John Hall displayed on the outside of his sawmill.
To get to the airport, from Buckhorn, take Hwy 23 to Hwy 28 South, then Hwy 115 South to Hwy 401 West toward Pearson Airport (YYZ); the drive is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
